Friday Crush

Happy Friday! With more than warm weather here in DC this week, I’m dreaming of a party on our lawn. Here’s a few finds that I’d love to use when hosting a get-together this summer.

Picnic-Friday-Crush West Elm’s melamine animal plates are so bright and fun. I can see a bright mixed salad popping on them.  This vintage style string of lights from Restoration Hardware would make our backyard look like a fairytale and keep the party going long after dusk. I’ve fallen in love with Anorak’s rolling hills printed picnic blanket. I’m so glad that I found Artsy Modern stocks them in the USA! We could use it as a place to gather in the lawn or a place for children to relax. It’s waterproof backing will be perfect for Wolf Trap performances this summer on the lawn.  I love my Zoku popsicle maker, but I’d love to add the Zoku ice cream bowl to my collection.  A few of these at a party would make mixing your own ice cream a fun dessert activity.

What better way to make those cocktails at your own lawn party or on a picnic adventure than from the mason jar shaker & tote cocktail kit. Tasty finger food is a must for an outdoor party.  Maybe I have Miami on my mind but I’d love to serve a platter of these stone crab claws from Joe’s Stone Crab shipped directly to my door.  What’s a party without a little fire? The end of an evening outside is the perfect time to relax by a fire pit. This starry night fire dome would make great a s’mores and start great conversations.
